Colorado Pro Photographer showdown
The inaugural Colorado Pro Photographer Showdown took place on November 19, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Fort Lewis College Concert Hall in Durango, Colorado. I was honored to be invited to showcase my work as one of the featured artists for this celebration of photography. It’s an exciting new annual experience featuring five handpicked photographers, each making a 10-minute presentation.
The show highlighted stunning images capturing the essence of sport, nature, and the human spirit. It was a fantastic event attended by 600 people who enjoyed the visuals and cheered for their favorite photographs. I presented 180 of my images from around the world and was selected for two of the awards: The People’s Choice and the Best Train Photograph.
The competition was fierce, and the event was a blast. I owe a special thank you to the Director, Jack Turner, all the amazing volunteers who helped put this fun, unique event together, the wonderful sponsors, the action and adventure models as the subject matter in many of my images - friends, family, and members of the community, and for those of you who attended this special event. A big THANK YOU!
