What’s not to love about Cottonwoods?! Aspen and pine trees seem to get all the love and attention of photographers, visitors, and onlookers. Why wouldn't they, they're gorgeous right?! I've been loving the understated Cottonwoods lately from their giant eagle nests to their funky little branches. This image was created one of the mornings after the wind calmed and extreme cold crept in. I titled the scene "Winter Warriors" as they seem to be a pair of lone standing warriors after a war with winter. waged against them.
